Minorities are not well represented in our industry. You know it, I know it, we all know. At the end of the day, Motion Graphics can be a bit of boy's club. Newfangled studios wants to get to the bottom of that.
I had the pleasure of designing and art directing the Untapped project while at Newfangled in 2017. Find the short, as well as a bunch of design work I did for the project below.
The vast majority of these keyframes were thrown down by Mike Bernard and Fred Kennedy. I was only responsible for animating the hand at 1:12 and the finale sequence from 2:10 onward.
Untapped has been featured in a variety of press outlets and catered galleries, including Motionographer, Wine After Coffee, Mango Snatchers, and many more.
